Mit der richtigen Konservierungsmethode kann ein Palmblatt rund 300 Jahre \u00fcberdauern und so die Zeit \u00fcberdauern.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Wie Palmbl\u00e4tter zu Manuskripten werden  <\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>F\u00fcr die Auswahl der Bl\u00e4tter, die f\u00fcr eine Palmblatt-Handschrift verwendet werden, gibt es eine besondere Methode. Das Blatt sollte weder zu zart noch zu reif sein. Sobald ein geeignetes Blatt ausgew\u00e4hlt ist, wird es in die gew\u00fcnschte Form geschnitten und dann in heiligem Wasser (reinem Flusswasser) oder Milch erhitzt. Danach werden sie im Schatten getrocknet. Das ist wichtig, denn direktes Sonnenlicht kann das Palmblatt zu br\u00fcchig machen, um es zu beschreiben. Die getrockneten Bl\u00e4tter werden dann mit Holzbrettern gepresst und gegl\u00e4ttet, die Ecken abgeschnitten und das Blatt poliert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anschlie\u00dfend werden an den Enden kleine L\u00f6cher gebohrt und Schn\u00fcre durch die L\u00f6cher gef\u00fchrt. Dann werden zwei Holzbretter entsprechend den Abmessungen des Palmblatts vorbereitet und an beiden Enden angebracht. Dieser Bindevorgang \u00e4hnelt der Art und Weise, wie wir B\u00fccher zum Schutz binden w\u00fcrden. Nun ist das Palmblatt bereit f\u00fcr den Autor, der sein Wissen darauf ausdr\u00fccken m\u00f6chte. Palmblattmanuskripte wurden schon vor 80.000 Jahren verwendet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Normalerweise hat das Palmblattmanuskript und die darin enthaltene Palmblattprophezeiung eine Lebensdauer von 300-350 Jahren. Bevor ein Palmenblatt verwest, wird das Manuskript sorgf\u00e4ltig auf ein neues Palmblatt kopiert.
