We know that scholars are specialists in a particular field of study or academics, but how can we comprehend these siddhas or rishis?<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Siddhas, Maharishis, and Nadi Astrology <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Siddhas are individuals who have and use super spiritual powers. Apparently, the siddhas received their super spiritual powers from the Almighty. Supposedly, through various different yogic practices \u2013 they are superhumans with divine blessings. However, as common to this period in Indian history, the list of exactly which seven rishis actually constitute the saptarishi varies from region to region, text to text, time period to time period.<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Actually, the Vedic literature that refers to the saptarishi never lists them by name. Lists of their names only begin to appear in later texts.<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The text Jaiminiya Brahmana in its verses 2.218\u2013221 lists the saptarishi as: Agastya, Atri, Bhardwaja, Gautam, Jamadagni, Vashistha and Vishvamitra.<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A slightly different list appears in Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: Atri, Bharadwaja, Gautama, Jamadagni, Kashyapa, Vashistha and Vishwamitra.<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Gopatha Brahmana however, names Vashistha, Vishvamitra, Jamadagni, Gautama, Bharadvaja, Gungu, Agastya and Kashyapa as the seven rishis.<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further, to confuse matters even more it was not uncommon in those days for a single spiritual figure or master to be known by different names depending on the region.<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\nn<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><\/figure>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The 18 Siddhas<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Although there were many, history has evidence of 18 important siddhas who contributed enormous amounts of knowledge to the world.<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">n<li>Nandhi Devar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Agathiyar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Thirumoolar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Punnakisar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Pulathiyar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Poonaikannar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Edaikkadar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Bogar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Pulikkaisar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Karuvurar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Konganavar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Kalangi<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Azhuganni<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Agappaiyar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Pambatti Siddhar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Therayar<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Kuthambai<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Sattamuni<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to mystical knowledge, Tantric practices, and wisdom, all the siddhas also excelled in medicine and astrology.<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, there exist traditions within the streams of both Indian and Tibetan Tantric practice that consider 84 mahasiddhas although again the list tends to vary from tradition to tradition.<br\/><br\/>(Check out our very first published book &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/B0DF33C9RP\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Divine Masters of India: The 18 Siddhas and Their Timeless Teachings<\/a>&#8220;)<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\nn<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"\u201cMaharishis blessing is there\u201d - Watch this magical \u201ccoincidence\u201d.\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GOqKXXODib4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Power of the Rishis<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Siddhas had the ability to look to both the past and future and were able to go to the past through their meditation for some important tasks. Consequently, the siddhas foresaw the future and, out of love, used this capacity to write important life details of many many human beings on what we now know as the nadi leaves.<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lord Shiva asked Sage Agasthiyar to write about the future of people who would live during <em>Kali Yuga <\/em>(Kali Yuga is the present period in time where all sorts of negativity prevail in the world). Most importantly, he understood that the people whose lives were written about in those leaves would eventually come looking to them for guidance. Therefore, the siddhas guide us until today and hold our hands on the way to salvation.<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The chapters of あたり person\u2019s palm leaf are:<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">n<li>General Chapter<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Education &amp; wealth<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Siblings<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Your Mother and all the material aspects of life<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Children &amp; mental peace<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Enemies, debt, and diseases<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Marriage &amp; relationships<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Circumstance &amp; time of your death<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Your father, ancestors and spiritual path<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Career, business and jobs<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Luck, profits, potential second marriage<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Foreign connections and next incarnation<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>Previous birth karma<\/li>\n\n\nn<li>救済策（レメディ） to transform karma<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All of these chapters are combined into a bundle, with あたり bundle holding information about あたり person. Subsequently, reference leaves contain summaries of あたり bundle and are stored within an index bundle. These days, libraries preserve palm leaves with the latest methods to ensure they will continue on to the next generations.<\/p>\n<p>nn<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In conclusion, the palm leaves are treasures given to the 21st-century people by the siddhas, especially <a href=\"https:\/\/mypalmleaf.com\/who-is-sri-agastya-maharishi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sri Agastya Maharishi<\/a>, with the blessings of all Gods.
