Dhyan’s journey from the corporate world to a contemplative life began with a deep search for meaning. With a background in business economics, he worked as a business applications manager before searching for a deeper purpose in life. Travel led him to become passionate about hiking, camping, and meditation. Over the years, Dhyan has immersed himself in Vipassana, Hridaya, and Dzogchen retreats, studying with various meditation masters and spending time at Ramana Ashram. Dhyan has studied and practiced meditation traditions such as Vipassana, Advaita, and Bone, and has done extensive retreats such as a 49-day solo silent retreat. His current practice is Bonpo Dzogchen meditation. Dhyan teaches meditation, pranayama, and yoga nidra in Amsterdam, and has a highly successful 21-day online morning meditation program.
