Yoga Retreat in the Himalayas

November 1–12, 2025

We warmly invite you to join us for 12 days in a peaceful Himalayan village — to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with what truly matters.

This retreat brings together the essence of yoga with the spirit of the palm leaves: living with clarity, connection, and purpose.

Whether you’ve had a Palm Leaf Reading or are simply looking for time away from the noise, this is a space to return to your body, your heart, and your path.

What to Expect

The Q&A evening will take place online via Zoom.

When?

Each day will include:

  • Yoga asana, pranayama, meditation
  • Teachings from yogic philosophy
  • Walks in nature and local temple visits
  • Time to rest, journal, or just be
  • Community connection balanced with personal space
  • Optional: hike to Tungnath – one of the highest Shiva temples in the world
  • This retreat isn’t about pushing or performing — it’s about softening, listening, and feeling more at home in yourself.

The retreat will be held in English, but our facilitators also speak German and Hindi if needed.

    The Location

Our retreat will take place in Mandal Valley, a beautiful area in the Indian Himalayas, surrounded by forest, mountains, and a clear blue river.

We’ll stay at a beautiful eco-retreat built with care using natural materials and permaculture principles. It’s quiet, welcoming, and deeply nourishing — a perfect space to unwind and reconnect.

Accommodation will be in shared twin/double rooms.
    Single occupancy is also possible.

    Your Hosts

The retreat will be guided by Ashish Om and Marie Om, experienced yoga teachers and long-time friends and partners of Mypalmleaf.

Marie is a long-time practitioner with a warm, clear way of holding space.

    Marie

Ashish was born and raised in India and shares yoga from a deeply rooted and accessible place.

    Om

Both bring not just experience, but a sense of care, honesty, and presence that supports real connection.

A Natural Extension of the Palm Leaf Teachings

Many of us come to the palm leaves with big questions — about our path, our purpose, or our next steps. This retreat is a way to take those insights and let them land in your body and in your life.

Through movement, stillness, shared meals, and time in nature, we bring the teachings into practice – not just as ideas, but as lived experience.
