Performed Just for You

Your name and intentions are spoken into the sacred fire by trained priests. This is not a group ceremony — it is conducted solely on your behalf.

📹
See Your Ceremony

Every ceremony is filmed, so you see it performed. Live attendance via Zoom can be added as a separate option.

🏛️
An Ancient Vedic Tradition

Homa fire offerings are described in the Vedas and have been practised for thousands of years, handed down in priest families.

How Your Homa Is Performed

From booking to ceremony — every step is handled with care and traditional precision.

1
Book & Specify

Book your Homa and choose whether you'd like to attend live. After checkout you pick the day and give the names the priests will speak into the fire, and one sentence of intention if you wish.

2
Preparation

The priests prepare the sacred fire pit (kund), gather specific herbs and offerings, and consecrate the space with preliminary mantras.

3
The Ceremony

The Homa begins — mantras chanted, offerings made, your name and intentions invoked throughout. The ritual lasts 1–2 hours.

4
Video Recording

You always receive a full video recording of your ceremony — from the first mantra to the final offering. Yours to keep.

What Our Clients Share

★★★★★
"The reading named a Pitru Dosha Homa — I had never heard of it. I booked anyway. I didn't expect much. But the week after, I had a dream about my late father that felt like resolution. Something that had been stuck for years just… moved."

★★★★★
"I watched live on Zoom at 6am. The priest kept feeding the fire and chanting — you could see how seriously they take it. The flame jumped up at one point and I had goosebumps. I didn't expect it to feel so personal."

Frequently Asked

Do I need a Palm Leaf reading to book a Homa?
No. Many clients book because the ceremony was recommended in their reading, but anyone can book a Homa. It is open to everyone, regardless of background or prior practice.
What does my payment cover?
The ceremony itself: the priests' time at the temple in Tamil Nadu, South India, and the fire, herbs and offerings used. The video recording documents the ceremony that took place there. Live Zoom attendance is optional and charged as a separate item.
Which type of Homa should I choose?
If your Palm Leaf reading recommended a specific Homa, simply book it here. Not sure of its exact name? Write to support@mypalmleaf.com and we will check it with you. If you are booking without a prior reading, tell us your intention after checkout and the priests choose the traditional Homa for it.
Can I watch the ceremony live?
Yes. For an additional €55 you can attend live via Zoom and witness the entire ritual in real time. If you cannot join live, you receive a full-length video recording of your ceremony regardless.
Where is the ceremony performed?
Your Homa is performed at a temple in Tamil Nadu, South India, by experienced Vedic priests our team has personally selected.
What do I need to provide?
Only names. After checkout you enter the names the priests will speak during the ceremony — yours and, if you wish, those of your family — and, optionally, one sentence of intention. No date of birth is needed.
How quickly will my ceremony be scheduled?
Most ceremonies are scheduled within 1–2 weeks of booking, subject to auspicious dates and the priests' calendar. Once confirmed you will receive the exact date and, if you selected Zoom, your attendance link.
How long does a Homa ceremony last?
Most Homas last between one and two hours. The duration depends on the specific ceremony type and scope. You will be informed of the expected duration when your ceremony is confirmed.
What if something goes wrong with my booking?
If something is missing — for example the video does not arrive — write to support@mypalmleaf.com and we will put it right. You can withdraw within 14 days of booking as described in our Terms (§8); once the ceremony has been performed at your request, the service is complete and there is no refund. A ceremony is a spiritual practice, so we cannot promise a particular result.
