Dhyan’s journey from the corporate world to a life of meditation began with a deep search for meaning. With a background in business economics, he worked as a business application manager before seeking a deeper purpose in life. His extensive travels sparked a passion for hiking, camping, and meditation. Over the years, Dhyan immersed himself in Vipassana, Hridaya and Dzogchen retreats, studied under various meditation masters, and spent time at the Ramana ashram.
Dhyan has studied and practised meditation in traditions including Vipassana, Advaita, and Bön and has undertaken extensive retreats, such as a 49-day solo silent retreat. His current practice is Bonpo Dzogchen meditation. Dhyan teaches meditation, pranayama, and yoga nidra in Amsterdam, offers a popular 21-day morning meditation program online, and co-hosts silent retreats, sharing his depth of experience with others on the journey inward.
