Stephan Laxman Oesterreicher
Stephan first visited a palm leaf library in India in 2009; his leaf was not found then. In 2020 it was, and the reading changed the course of his life. Struck by the precision and depth of the ancient tradition, he dedicated himself to making it accessible to seekers worldwide — in their own languages, on their own terms.
He named himself Laxman after the devoted brother of Lord Rama, honouring the spirit of selfless service that guides everything Mypalmleaf does. Today, the organisation he founded has delivered 6,000+ readings across 181 countries.
